Astrocartography: find where you are meant to be

Astrocartography maps your birth chart onto the world. Every planet in your chart draws four lines across the globe — the places where it was rising, setting, culminating or at the nadir at the moment you were born. Stand near one and that planet's themes get louder in your life.

How Lora's astrocartography works

Enter your date, time and place of birth, then pick the question you actually want answered. Instead of handing you a flat world map covered in lines and leaving you to interpret it, Lora returns specific places, with the reasoning for each: which planetary line runs through it, on which angle, and what that combination tends to mean.

The four angles

Ascendant (AC) — identity, appearance, how you come across.
Midheaven (MC) — career, public reputation, visible achievement.
Descendant (DC) — relationships, partnership, who you attract.
Imum Coeli (IC) — home, roots, family, inner life.

The same planet reads differently on each angle: Venus on the DC line is a relationship signal, Venus on the MC line is closer to a reputation for taste. Where two lines cross, both influences apply at once — those crossings are called parans.

Is Lora's astrocartography free?

Yes, the core reading is free. Sharing unlocks additional readings.

Do I need my exact birth time?

An accurate birth time matters more here than in almost any other kind of astrology: a few minutes shifts a line by hundreds of miles. Without one you can still read the map, but treat line positions as approximate.

How close to a line do I have to be?

The influence is strongest on the line itself and fades outward, with roughly 300–400 miles the usual working range. Line crossings have a tighter radius than single lines.

Can astrocartography tell me where to move?

It tells you which planetary themes a place amplifies for you specifically. Whether that is the right trade for a move is a judgement call — a strong line for one person is unremarkable for another, because the lines come from your chart and nobody else's.

Is my birth data stored?

No. Readings are generated from your data and the data is not retained or sold to third parties.
